A country park straddling the border of West Lothian and Falkirk Council areas, Muiravonside lies on the banks of the River Avon, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Linlithgow. Covering an area of 69 ha (170 acres), it comprises gardens, woodland and parkland, the latter including a disused mine shaft. Newparks Farm is open to the public and is stocked with rare breeds and exotic animals and birds.
Formerly the estate of the Stirling family of Falkirk, the park is owned and managed by Falkirk Council.
