Parish of AuchterarderAuchterarder is a parish, which lies in Perth and Kinross Council Area, some 9 miles (14 km) southeast of Crieff and 10 miles (17 km) northwest of Kinross in Perth and Kinross.
It is located in the old county of Perthshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 45.3 sq. km (17.5 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Auchterarder. Auchterarder has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Blackford, Dunning, Glendevon and Trinity Gask. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
