Abington
South LanarkshireThe settlement of Abington is located within South Lanarkshire Council Area, 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Biggar and adjacent to the main road route (A74/M74) from Carlisle to Glasgow. The old Edinburgh road from the A74 starts at Abington and heads east to Biggar and Edinburgh. The River Clyde, which flows from Daer Water to the south, passes through the village.
