Glenfarg Village

A village in the parish of Arngask, Perth and Kinross, Glenfarg lies on the River Farg, 8 miles (13 km) south of Perth. Formerly known as Damhead, its name was changed in the 1890s when the newly completed railway through Glen Farg brought tourists to the area. Now bypassed by the M90 motorway, Glenfarg is the venue for a folk festival.
