A hamlet lying above the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders, some 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of Newtown St. Boswells. Bemersyde House and its associated estates have long been the property of the Haig family. Scott's View, which overlooks the Eildon Hills, lies to the north.
