Grantshouse
Scottish BordersA hamlet of the Scottish Borders lying on the Eye Water and the A1 trunk road running south to England. Grantshouse is situated at the eastern extent of the Lammermuir Hills, 9 miles (14 km) west of Eyemouth and 7½ miles (12 km) north of Duns. The main east coast railway passes through the hamlet, although there is no longer a station. The disused Grantshouse Quarry lies immediately to the south.
