Grantshouse
Scottish Borders

A hamlet of the Scottish Borders lying on the Eye Water and the A1 trunk road running south to England. Grantshouse is situated at the eastern extent of the Lammermuir Hills, 9 miles (14 km) west of Eyemouth and 7½ miles (12 km) north of Duns. The main east coast railway passes through the hamlet, although there is no longer a station. The disused Grantshouse Quarry lies immediately to the south.
