Ecclesmachan
West LothianA village in a parish of the same name in West Lothian, Ecclesmachan lies 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Winchburgh. It takes its name from the Church of St Machan. The noted surgeon Robert Liston (1794-1847) was the son of the parish minister. The Oatridge Agricultural College lies immediately to the west.
